KOI Illustration + Vector + Processing + HYPE

With a deep love of Japanese culture and imagery, I've illustrated a Koi fish using photographs for reference material. The illustration was created straight within Adobe Illustrator using a pen tablet. Once the outlines were drawn, I saved it as a SVG to use in the Processing/HYPE sketch book. Using code to animate 100+ frames of unique art, manipulating the SVG creates a beautiful echo'ing effect that emulates flow and movement.
